I am going to be out of town in the Carolinas for the next week, and I have made a ton of stuff that I want to share, but alas, I have no time. I also didn’t have time to use up the rest of my CSA. What to do to preserve all this greatness?! Juice. Pops.
Easy peasy. Take 1 kohlrabi, 2 cucumbers, 4 peaches, 4 apples, 2 lemons, 11 carrots of various sizes. I peeled and cut everything in advance, and then juiced it all, and the end result was absolutely delicious and refreshing. It made 4 popsicles, and four 8 oz. glasses of juice.
I am glad to have had such a delicious, light beverage to soothe me as I pack and rush around getting ready for the airport, (and some for D!) and I look forward to getting to enjoy it again in popsicle form when I get back! I will be sure to add a photo of that then.
With Love, and By Hand.
Oh goddess! Those are beautiful and I love that you used all those veggies.
Veggie juice pops are my jam this summer! So good on the ridiculously hot humid days we have been having! Thanks!
These looks like the most wonderful dessert of all time! What a lovely way to get in your veggies while pretending to be naughty 🙂
Come and add this link to this week’s party…http://inherchucks.com/2012/08/08/whats-in-the-box-38/. Looking forward to seeing you there!
