Again, a disappointingly small haul. We were told zucchini, squash and cucumbers but received none, which makes me sad. I guess the weather has been really off this year. But again, if you look at
CSA 8 2011 and then CSA 8 2012 it does seem like something else is off. Also, I hate fennel. haha. I am excited about the sugar plums though. YUM.

The sunflowers are so cheerful & you can feed the birds with them when they get droopy.
Yes! As I learned the first year, you cannot keep sunflowers long or they start to smell like rotting diapers haha
